From Three Crowns, Stoke Newington

Since the 1600s at the end of Church Street, the comer of Stoke Newington High Street, stands the Three Crowns, a large public- house which inherits a far-back tradition. It was originally called the Cock and Harp, but was renamed to compliment James I, with the 3 crowns representing England, Scotland & Ireland. Now re-opened in its full glory, serving a modern British using locally sourced seasonal produce fit for both kings and humble peasants alike, as well as local craft wines, beers and spirits with DJs late into the night. Beneath The Three Crowns lies The Waiting Room, an incredible live space and club, dedicated to showcasing the best grassroots artists and forward thinking, leftfield clubnights on weekends.
