I have been coming here for decades. It is has been consistently good to extremely good over the years. It has largely been served well by it's owners of the day (although I think the removal of the bespoke Victorian mirrors behind the bar an absolute crime by the existing owners last year!).Todays visit was fantastic. Really great Sunday lunch. The staff were lovely. I find they always go above and beyond to make one feel looked after. The chef certainly knows his roast meats and cauliflower cheese.Has known beers and regular offers guest beers, so I never get bored. Top local pub.

Food great and covers most bases, service is friendly, atmosphere dependent on time of day because it is also a great music venue so don't turn up for a nice pub meal on a gig night...!Vegetarian options: Several options which is nice to see. The burger is Beyond Meat rather than bean or other veg fritter.Dietary restrictions: Chef knew all about allergens but menu not marked up. Just mark it, it will take you 10 minutes and probably save you an hour of staff time every night.

Great pub, easy going atmosphere with really helpful and friendly staff. I sat at the bar for a while and the team on were having a great time entertaining customers and making recommendations.Started with a Guinness which was one of the best pours I've had in a long time. Followed up with their current pie - Pork and apple - which was a really good pie, solid fill and crispy pastry with copious amounts of gravy.As I happened to visit on a Monday, I was around for their weekly quiz - really entertaining and pretty challenging without being obtuse like a cryptic crossword.All in all, a great time had, will be back soon, especially for the next iteration of their pies and more Guinness.

Came here for a roast with my flatmate and it did not disappoint - perfectly sized roast and really filled us up. If you?re looking for a good roast spot in London this is it! Stayed after for some cocktails which were just as good. Great service, great food can?t wait to come back

I popped in here for a Christmas drink with my daughter on 22nd December (after having dinner round the corner). From the get go the head bouncer (who was permanently seated at the bar) was hostile and aggressive. We had a drink at the bar and for reasons unknown to us he took against us and was verbally abusive and threatening. I asked for assistance from the bar staff, but they were obviously afraid of him, so I requested to see the Manager. He was helpful and apologetic (offering us free drinks as an apology), however as he spoke with us the bouncer continued to shout over his head at us - as our complaint had riled him further. The Manager and the bouncer continued to have a shouting match further down the bar as the situation was dealt with. As two women wanting no more than a quiet drink this situation was really unpleasant and upsetting - being verbally harrassed and threatened by a very large bouncer, whom the manager had little control over, was very frightening. I will not being going back and recommend everyone give this bar a miss.

Amazing Sunday roast with all the trimmings, great drinks (especially the Guinness and cocktails) and lovely atmosphere in the pub. Plus, the staff were incredible! Super friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. Will absolutely be coming back!

Visited this venue for a friend's birthday last week. The food was ok but the barback was incredibly disrespectful. I asked for some blue roll to clean up a little spillage I'd made and the barback told me to go to hell, I mean who does that? sorry bar team looks like you were let down.I even had to leave a bad review for the first time. Love the people at this bar but when the barback is rude to customers it creates a dreadful atmosphere. Therefore I cannot recomend the three crowns pub to anyone who wants to enjoy their night and not feel cheated out of their money.

Very nice pub from an aesthetic perspective, nice size, good drinks selection but the staff were hilariously switched off. They didn?t say anything to me any time I was ordering a drink - no hello / how are you / what would you like / thanks / enjoy - nothing. Barely eye contact. Bizarre!
