Why don?t you update your website we travelled to the Trafford centre which on the web it said it was open now but in fact the store had been closed for several months.

Got there at 8:40pm when they close at 9pm and shutters were already fully closed with no staff in sight. Wanted one thing, I knew they had it in stock. Fix up

Rude staff! Price match guarantee is false! They don?t price match if it?s on sale or clearance anywhere even though it says nothing of this in the t&cs it?s managers discretion which explains why the staff member kept repeating ? I don?t even get it at that price? ?hmm no I can?t do that low? and laughing moaning about his staff discount. Its always the same in this curries store though I don?t know why I expected anything else. ?You won?t get it cheaper anywhere else full stop? well that?s a lie isnt it Curry?s?

Don't bother going here if you expect them to actually follow their policies.I visited tonight after a lengthy call with customer service about a price match for a Nintendo Switch. I appreciate there has been a lot of publicity about this, hence my call to customer services first.Their price match terms and conditions are explicit, and my call reinforced this. Effectively the product must be demonstratably in stock either online or in an alternative store within 10 miles, and must be the same product. A few other T&Cs apply around discount codes etc, but this is not applicable in this situation.I decided I wanted to buy said product from Currys because I am able to pay in vouchers, rather than having to use cash if bought from Tesco.I arrived in store and despite being able to clearly demonstrate the product is in stock at Gorton Tesco, Gary decided to go on a power trip and because his independent system (Tesco's website) didn't show this, they couldn't match the price. Now, I was showing Gary the Tesco app. I showed him live (so as to avoid any doubt that I may have a screenshot or anything altered) but he was steadfast in his ignorance that he was ignoring his own policies (which not only are written down but also on a recorded call I'd made with Currys not 30 minutes earlier). The reason the website doesn't show it is because he was on the online ordering page, not the store stock check page.At one stage he suggested there is a forum which there is talk of bargaining with them. No idea how this is relevant other than demonstrating that he is spending his shift on a forum and not working.I did not want to bargain with him. I wanted him to get off his high horse ("I've been left to lock up tonight!") and do his job.I dared to asked for a way to complain and was shown a generic leaflet for how to get more 'help', or told to use Twitter? Brilliant.Don't bother with Currys, and definitely don't bother with this store. No wonder they're always empty.

Very small shop, lots of stuff working there ,stuff was helpful but have small knowledge about how to deal with a customer. I went there to buy a jucer the man was very nice who helped me but they didn't have what I wanted which is absolutely fine, but when I ask how I can get it they told me I can do it online. So I went to John Lewis and I order it over there cus they ofere it straight away cus they didn't have it on stock. That's how you deal with a customer Currys.

The staff were pretty helpful but ultimately all lacking in key knowledge about their laptop range when it comes to pen input support. And the on screen spec details disagreed with the Windows system info as to whether pen support was present. Couldn't trust the conflict of information so they lost a sale.

Commuted 30 minutes to get to this store to trade in my old handset only to be told by the Sales Assistant, Bradley that you can only do so if you take out a contract or for an in store voucher. The Carphone warehouse/Curry?s website clearly states that you?re eligible for a bank transfer. Clearly store is only interested in you when they have sales target to hit. Waste of time and money.

After a bad experience in Curry's white city, I went to Trafford centre and tried again.Lee's assistance was exceptional, very helpful and absolute star.I'll come back there as their service is way beyond the level I've seen in other Curry's shops. Thanks a lot!

Collected a phone that had been delivered to store. Plenty of staff available. There was a slight delay in locating the parcel, but wasn?t an issue as staff communication was good and they apologised for the slight wait. Staff were friendly.

I was happy with my delivery ,fridge freezer took all packaging of brought it upto the next floor . But bought a computer and to ring the store u can?t get through , they tell u first to go online, plus found it hard to find an actual phone number. Need to take computer back but don?t want to waste my petrol for them to say there no more In stock or might even get my money back and go somewhere else

Shocking service, staff members including the manager just no intention of actually helping out. There were 4 members of staff free including the manager that were either on their phones or around one of the display iMacs having a laugh. I went in to look for a laptop and it literally took 15 mins before a member of staff asked if I needed help. When I eventually did get some help, before even looking at the laptops he was trying to sell the extended warranty saying the keyboard would break 3 times in 2 years which is just a ridiculous claim. Definitely won't be returning.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had!
I ordered a new Samsung Galaxy S21FE which was advertised as minimum £150 cashback when you trade in ANY smartphone in ANY condition. I checked with staff in-store at Currys in Bolton before I ordered and confirmed I would get at least £150 for my current smartphone (Sony Xperia 5 ii).
After placing the order, I called customer services (which takes approximately 40 minutes to get through), only to be told they couldn't process the trade in as my phone make and model wasn't listed. They advised I would need to visit the store to process the trade in.
On visiting the store, they advised the ANY make/ model trade in offer doesn't actually include my Sony Xperia phone and I would need to contact customer services to cancel.
Customer services have refused to cancel the order, as the new phone has already been dispatched to Currys in Bolton. They expect me to collect the phone from the store and return it to them at my own expense which I naturally refused to do.
The CS team then transferred me to the sales team and said Sales would be able to cancel the order and arrange collection of the phone (more hold time).
Sam in the sales team spoke to his 'manager' and said I needed to leave the phone without collecting it at the Bolton store and the order would be cancelled automatically after 14 days, which (conveniently), is the same length of time as the cooling off period so again I declined.
Sam then agreed he would arrange with the customer services team to have the phone collected from the Bolton store before putting me on hold. After another lengthy hold time, I was blind transferred back to the customer services team.
I then asked to speak with a manager and was put through to the sales team manager, Jason who agreed that the situation was ridiculous and promised he would speak with customer services personally to arrange the order cancellation. Again, I was placed on hold and got transferred back to the CS team, and the call was cut off - I received no call back despite them having my mobile number on file.
I called back AGAIN, spoke with an agent named Ijaz and asked to speak with the sales team manager Jason. Ijaz refused to transfer me to any manager and said he would arrange a callback which of course, I never received.
After spending several infuriating hours on the phone with these disgraceful time-wasters, I have still been unable to cancel the order and will now have to waste even more time going back into the store to return the item at my own expense.
From the other reviews on Truspilot, it appears the Carphone Warehouse business model is to advertise fake offers and then rely on a literally useless customer service team to ensure that customers are unable to cancel before the end of their 14 day cancellation period. Absolutely appalling!!

Brilliant. Helped us get a switch for our son and looked through the 100 switch games under the counter :)
