“Packed with all the basic necessities. Fruits from aldi are always fresh and prices are very reasonable compared to other supermarkets. Shame there are no small trolleys now, just the huge ones.”

“Some really good deals, but you need to keep an eye out for them. It's definitely worth signing up for their emails. If you find a good deal jump on it because it'll be gone in a few days.”

“Just the place to pick up those item you never thought you just might need!Like a spare wheel for that rusty old wheelbarrow at the back of your shed that you have no need for. Or a complete Snap On tool kit even though you are not a mechanic! The positives are that if Tesco across the road have broken fridges, you can guess that Lidl will have it. Just like on Sunday when I visited!Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!”

“My favourite Iceland. Never too busy and the staff don't chat to the neighbours too long, after all... This isn't the place to do it. Do it in your own time. The Clayton branch (Ashton new road) could learn a thing or 2.”

“Can't beat it for value frozen food. Large variety of shelf items, plus fresh fruit and veg too. I'd buy from here a lot more if they offered delivery. Shop itself could do with an upgrade though, doesn't look its best.”

“Cool & easy to locate or your preferred items on your own, & when in doubt the shop assistents/packers are handy to speak to always. Budget prices for everyone in the shop.”

“Very large store. They have good prices but lack variety. They have no options/section for gluten free vegan items. They also do not have a lot of basic things which you'd expect at a supermarket this big, like wet wipes or kitchen items.”

“It is easy to access even if you go on a wheelchair because the Isle are wide enough. It's clean and tidy. Staff is friendly. It is situated inside a retail park with other stores (B&M, Matalan, Pet at home, Wicked) makes shopping easier.”

“Great store, very friendly staff and wide variety of options and I love the bakery section. The only small downside Is lack of toilets and the prices are sometimes in the wrong area”

4.2Good60 Reviews

“The prices here are decent. This store has a wide range of food products. The customer service is nearly perfect. The 3 retail assistants who (almost) always provide me with great service are: David, Chelsea and Oliver. This terrific trio are: approachable, friendly, polite, positive and professional. The store manager (Sophie) manages this place very well. She is proactive, approachable and professional.”

“I visit Urban Exchange in Manchester quite frequently. It's situated a short distance from the city centre and Piccadilly railway station. There is a Marks &Spencer Outlet with great prices, much of the stock discounted from regular Marks. On either side there are Pure Gum and Go Outdoor stores. At one end of the block there is an Aldi store. Parking is free, but only for 1 and half hours. So something for everyone looking to buy food, gifts or to get some exercise. A good place to visit in the Northern Quarter.”

“I love the bargains and the variety of items, I think it's perfect for people who are on the budget but like to try new things, however, if you're a shopaholic or an impulse buyer, you might wanna go in there with limited amount of money (like a gift card or a low-limit credit card) so you don't end up "going in for one thing and leaving with the whole store" ??”
