“One of my favorite places in Salford. Full of delicious Portuguese/Brazilian items with a fair price. You have to try the 'Pao de Queijo' and the 'Linguica Criola'. Friendly staff and free parking provided.”

“Home bargains are a store chain who, i belive help people & families cope with rising prices on their shopping. Unlike the big store chains who are only interested in making a profit. Thank you, Home Bargains for helping us all out at a time of need. Rob.”

“I love this store. I could spend my entire salary in Poundland. ? After selecting an item, and you check the price, you'd say, "oh, it's just one pound." Then you keep on picking items until you empty the whole store. I'm exaggerating. I enjoy visiting Poundland because I get to buy some goods at a cheaper rate there.”

“Aldi Salford is a great place to shop for routine items at attractive prices. They have a good stock on a variety of items, including curry paste to make Indian dishes. However, their fruit and greens options are limited. I would recommend this store for quick restocks, but not for bulk shopping. Here are some specific pros and cons of Aldi Salford:**Pros:*** Good stock on a variety of items at attractive prices* Carts are locked and require coin to unlock, which is returned with the cart* Decent options for routine items* Has some curry paste to make Indian dishes**Cons:*** Low on fruit and greens options* Not ideal for bulk shoppingOverall, Aldi Salford is a good option for quick restocks at attractive prices. However, keep in mind that their fruit and greens options are limited, and they are not ideal for bulk shopping.”

“I love Heron Foods. I wouldn't use it instead of a normal supermarket but have some really nice stuff. I especially go when they have the baby food in as its alot cheaper than the supermarkets. For example the Heinz 1+ foods are 2 for £1 where it's £2 just for one in supermarkets I've also bought baby porridge of 39p each or 69p each and then the tubs of porridge which are normally £3 in supermarkets are £1 so saves me a heck of alot of money. They don't have baby food in all time though its one of those once its gone its gone and then they will bring stuff back in a month or so.”

I tell about this spot with no hesitation.”

“The security guard that was working at 1:05 on Thursday the 8th of June went out of his way to help me and mum get a trolly out that was jammed. We thank him very much for doing what he could until he got it out for us. I also noticed how he helped everyone out while we was shopping, he was very helpful and kind.”

“Very efficient hospital and very clean, some nice trendy cafe's o si and eat in and even a couple of shops to browse in should you be waiting on someone, one of the leading hospitals n the UK I believe and with good reasons it stood head and shoulders above most hospitals I have been to.”

“I was in desperate need of some petrol and was quite far away from my usual station as I was visiting relatives in Salford. Despite the fact that fuel prices are quite high at the moment, Tesco station was quite reasonable. With £30 I was able to fill over half of my tank which will more than do for the rest of this week. As it was in the evening it was quite quiet at the station and it’s very handy that they have many pumps which allow you to pay at the pump rather than having to go into the shop.”

“We have stayed here many times over the years and have always found the hotel to be clean, quiet and comfortable. Self-service breakfast is very good and kept replenished, even for latecomers. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Our only criticism - you have to pay for parking now and if you do not spot the machine by the front door ( we parked behind the building) using a smart phone was not straightforward.”

“Hotel is 5 mins walk from Salford Quays Tram Stop. (When you get off tram you will see some nearby high buildings Travelodge is on same side of street as these buildings, head left past Tesco Express) My room was very comfortable, best shower ever! No external noise. Nice breakfast buffet in morning. Shops nearby (other side of building you see as you exit Travelodge)”

“Vegan burgers and sausages been reduced in price by nearly a half so it doesnt cost any more to be vegan. This is such a positive move for plant based eating by the co-op. I popped in to get some and the morning security was friendly and polite.”

“Huge thank you to Emma and her team! Who assisted us with a great deal for easter treats for our residents and staff, when we was let down by another supplier with no notice last week. This hasn’t been the first time Nisa has assisted the care home when we have been in need and the staff are always very helpful and accommodating. Thank you for all your support and help over the difficult situations we have faced. Thanks, The Broughtons Care Home ❤️”

“I've used this Tesco Express a multitude of times over the past few weeks. Always smiling and helpful staff, a good selection of meal deal sandwiches, drinks and snacks as well as a small but adequate range of alternative drinks, snacks etc...this is an Express, not a large supermarket, location.I am aware that prices are slightly raised over supermarket prices but that's the price you pay for convenience and having choice on your doorstep”
