Awful branch. Deposited cash there to be asked. "How did I get this money?" The cash was then taken to the back where 2 other members of staff came into view and stared at me, before taking it. I guess a man in overalls is a rare site to this ignorant lot.The Chorlton branch was vastly better run and staffed.Will be soon closing my account as I won't deal with this lot again.

I would like to take this opportunity to praise one of your staff members who I feel needs recognition,his name was Mark. Simply wanted to put money into an account, after waiting 20 minutes someone got off their chair with eyes rolling, they told me to use the machine before I could explain I had two cheques in different names etc and only one card without the PIN number.They blankly repeated use the machine.Please just lose the attitude and listen to your customer before turning them away.It was a good reminder to why I closed my account years ago.

Considering we are in the midst of a global pandemic, you'd think they would have more efficient health and safety procedures in place in Halifax Didsbury branch. Their queuing system is ridiculous, it's not exactly rocket science to have a one way system in place in a small branch.

It was very quick to open a bank account, but to withdraw money with out the bank card not possible to get a single penny where is in other banks very simple to withdraw money with ID definitely will safe more time and less headache with other provider.

Incompetence at its best. Applied for credit card online and brought everything I was asked for to the branch. I was told they can't accept my EU ID card even though it was stated in the email it is accepted. Then when I talked to the manager suddenly the ID card was fine but my council tax bill was missing the word "flat" in my address. Therefore they said they can't accept it. What a joke of a bank and a huge time waste!

A local bank for local people. I went in to change my formal address and one of the customers was being awkward close to closing time not having brought the correct documents (ID).
