Been going here for around 10 years, don?t go in very often but most of the time it was fine.However, I went in on the 9th September to close my help to buy isa, the man was unable to print my statement and told me he can only get it posted, I was a little frustrated but there was nothing I could have done.He then did my wife?s but all of a sudden the printer was working so he managed to print hers.He told me it would take around 5 days, again I was frustrated because my solicitor needs the statement so she can apply for the government 20% bonus.1 week no letter, 2 weeks no letter, 3 weeks no letter, it finally got delivered on Thursday of the 4th week. Nearly 5 weeks for a very very important later. Ps this was a resend from the complaints department. So his letter didn?t even get delivered.I was really infuriated because it was stalling the purchase of the house.I complained on the Halifax app etc, reached the complaint department. They tried to ring but I was unable to answer due to work.I got a letter from (Joan Gordon) manager at complaints department that they are very sorry and they put £75 into my account. Very nice thing to do. I give Joan and her team 5 starts for the generous gift.But Middleton branch I give 1. The man just didn?t look confident in what he was doing, he had to keep going back and forth to check he?s doing it correctly with his colleagues.I will not be going to this branch anymore. I just don?t feel confident at all.

When busy can be a slog to get to the tellers 'but that's due to demand NOT staff, but once at the counter BOOOM in & out. Respect Lady's & Gent's, 22yrs with you and I've only ever had Altercation 'then I've was at Fault. ?Steve???????

I've just come across to middleton again and the halifax again for the 3rd week its been closed .Due to staff being ill Does time stop because people are ill .I don't want to sound heartless but time doesn't stop still . How are people supposed to pay bills and put money in the bank when its closed Also their cash machines are empty no money in both .
