“Whilst I am not a customer of Halifax Bitterne myself, my grandmother (she's 91 you know!) is. Recently she was visiting the Halifax and accidentally left her bag containing her keys, purse, phone and contact numbers on the bus. She was very upset and arrived at the branch needing help. Nicky and the team were excellent, they stayed with her throughout and even went as far as to drive her home, arrange a locksmith, and wait with her until she was able to safely enter the house. The whole experience could have been dreadful, however the team at Halifax really showed just how wonderful people can be. Thank you so much.”

“Visiting the Co-Operative bank - Southampton branch - always a positive experience. At a time when other banks are forcing customers to use online banking, banking Apps on mobiles, then warning us about the prolific fraud and scams on these systems; always a pleasure to be served by human beings at branch, dealing with financial transactions. Southampton staff always professional, helpful, engaging and knowledgeable. In Particular, Erica, Leanne Smith and Taran Soor have been really helpful and given exceptional customer service. Over time, have built up a rapport with them. They understand my banking needs and offer the best advise. I feel confident I can trust their advice.”

“The member of staff I saw on my last visit here was very very helpful and pleasent, I'm unsure of his name but he looked in his twenties. Extremely helpful and seemed that he actually gives a s*** unlike many other similar establishments. I have to say though since the past near-on 20 years this convenience store has changed ownership so many times that I cannot count. Also just one main problem, the store gets their deliveries on a Friday and a Monday only so if they run out of a product on the Monday then you have to wait :- Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday and also Friday and then hope that someone actually re-ordered your item (Not Good). “Having stayed here many times I found the service to be very hit and miss. So was hoping all was well when I arrived I am delighted to report a much improved food and beverage department with great staff and great new menu and quality food Outstanding service and breakfast following morning was also amazing with quality and nice touches to enhance the brand standard of Hilton Was nice to see the chefs both at dinner and breakfast talking to the guests This together with the quality rooms and beautiful bedding , it’s now back to its former glory Would recommend it most definitely and I will be back soon”

“Am a local resident and have always had good experience with this garage over the years. Staff are always friendly and polite. But the only thing I have had a problem with is the cash machine. When it was shell It was constantly out of use. But now it seems it gets turned off every evening as works every day I've been but when had to go later that evening to get more money out it's not working. But then the next morning around 8/9 it's working again.”

“Staff have always been extremely helpful when I've gone to them with any banking-related issues. The only reason I'm not rating this as 5 stars is due to the limited opening hours - since the Santander branches in Shirley and on Highfield campus closed down, this is the only one in the city and the hours are pretty awful if you have a busy day (no fault of the employees, mind you!).”
