A lovely country pub with comfy sofas and a roaring fire. We popped in for a beer after a long walk and liked it so much that we came back later for dinner - which was delicious, and clearly home-made. Friendly staff and friendly locals, and dog friendly too.

Fabulous pub with brilliant staff and a lovely owner. Cannot recommend it too highly- superb food from an obviously talented chef - called on the way to France and on the way back

Was passing through on Saturday and so glad we were. We’ve never been here before but the pub had an instant welcoming feel. We were greeted by the waiter who showed us to the table.
