“I recently sent a large (110x110 cm) acrylic, wood framed piece of artwork from Tunbridge Wells to Dusseldorf, Germany. Greg at MBE was incredibly helpful, suggesting best postal service options to use etc. The packaging was fantastic and the painting arrived in pristine condition within 1 week.”

“Coming to the end of our holiday, we ran out of a few basics and was really lucky enough to find this lovely wee country village shop which had everything I was looking for, it is well stocked with all the sort of basics you would hope to find, really friendly and helpful staff and the prices were well marked and very reasonable. I wish I'd stayed and looked about more, because at I checked out, I noticed some beautiful looking home made pork pies on the till. It has a post office counter and post box, parking for about four cars out the front and is connected to a wee cafe next door. Highly recommended and will definitely come back. As one reviewer said, "it had great scran" lol ??”

“Great shop, run by volunteers all friendly people, good choice and range of stock, nice to have a selection of dairy, fresh and frozen meat and fresh fruit \\u0026 veg, also some good wines too. Opening hours are very good even open a couple of hours on Sunday mornings. I live in the village and use the shop regularly as it’s so much better than getting in the car to head to TW. The post office is great to have too. Well done everyone involved for making this such a gem!”

“Like previous reviewers I used to hate going to this business, the lady there was very strange. Pointing at scowling at people for not understanding her unsigned queuing system. I (like many others) were made to feel like school children, most of us look at least 40+ !!! One woman was so upset at how she was spoken to she walked out with her post and left. I don't blame her. Anyway! That was before new people took this over! It is now a bright, pleasant lovely shop with very nice local crafts inside as well as a much brighter more efficient post office. I think if you hated this place in the past, do try it again - New Management have made a big difference.”

“Lovely friendly staff at the post office counter.Never had any problems. The shop itself I don’t use.Maybe it could be turned into a confectionery shop only.I drive away from the 5 ways post office in Tunbridge Wells, town centre , very near to where I live and come to this post office. 5 ways , not good in comparison.”

“For the post office, don't use the advertised telephone number - this has been disconnected but rings like it is connected. Phone the shop number on 533720 - they are very helpful.”

“These guys try their absolute best and are always kind and patient. I think they’re understaffed but it’s not their fault! It would be good to have more people to help on the self serve machines to bring the queues down but five stars for soldiering through and getting stuff done.”
