Hi I'm Amy. I am new to Usborne but not new to a love of reading! I work as a secondary school English teacher and live in Chorley, Lancashire. One of the perks of the job is having access to a wealth of literature both in my classroom and in the library. One of my favourite genres is YA (Young Adult) which is appropriate for 13+ but I also like to read classics, MG (middle grade) and non-fiction. Reading for pleasure is such an important part of life, particularly when growing up. Reading develops empathy for others, understanding and compassion. I have first hand experience of working with young people who desperately need to find the right book and start their love of reading. I can't wait to hear from you.
