Dog friendly restaurant area (can't say about the hotel as we only went for lunch).Outstanding service even during the end of a busy lunch rush. Great tasting food. No booking required.Walkability: Right at the edge of the town high street. Excellent location if you're looking for a central place to stay.

Just returned from a one night stay at The Crown in Stamford and can't recommend it highly enough. So much so this will be the longest review I have ever written!
