Went to the delivery office to pay £1.50 for postage not paid. When the chap brought out the item it was a birthday card. He couldn't understand why as it had a first class stamp on it so just gave it to me and said don't worry about paying. Ok it was only £1.50 but it was very good of him. Top marks.

Saff usually friendly and efficient. But beware that from Monday 10 July 2023 there are crazy revised counter opening times - 10:10-12:00 Mon-Fri and 08:00-12:100 Sat

I have been waiting for a parcel from Royal mail Wellingborough office on 27.05.2023 (Tracking reference No: PV582164109GB) and I paid £4.49 for your service. However now I can see delivery status changed to 'Delivery Attempted - No Answer' at 10.50am. This is not true. I was at home waiting for this delivery. No one knocked my door. No one pressed the buzzer. No one left a card. All it says to me is no one came to deliver the parcel at all and just changed the status in the tracker to 'Delivery Attempted - No Answer'. As you can imagine it' not acceptable this kind of behavior. Now instead of 48 hour delivery it will be 120 hour delivery as it's bank holiday. Ordered the item to do my garden during the long weekend. So now plans ruined . No option to give zero star. Therefore one star.

Like many others apparently, I have tried countless times to ring Wellingborough sorting office with an enquiry, but no one answers the phone !!!!Royal Mail already has a bad reputation. Courier service all the time from now on.Terrible service !

Good when they open to retrieve your undelivered parcels.. unfortunately a bit poor on opening times and rarely answer the phone to confirm they open. Just because there site says they open doesn't mean they will be when you get there?

Wellingborough phone constantly rings out, zero customer service, delays on so called 'Guaranteed Next Day', website claims receipt on 30th then adjusts to suit their delayed delivery on 'track and trace' , utterly useless service.

Absolutely abysmal, the office has very limited opening times which is an issues to collect parcels if you are working, redelivery slots seem to be quite limited and there is no parking onsite so you run the risk of a ticket at the railway station parking nearby. This is by no means a reflection of the staff there who are always polite but down to poor management.
