I rarely write reviews but I have just left this store and I am disgusted. Absolutely terrible customer service. An item didn?t have a label, so at checkout (self checkout only available) I was asked did I want to ?run and grab another one? which surely is not my error to correct as the customer. Also an older lady infront of me had not used self checkout before and was struggling while the staff member told her it was just ?tough luck now because you have to do it all yourself?, offering no help whatsoever! I will not be returning to this store. This is not what customer service should look or feel like at all!

Apparently my review didn't meet their guidelines so I'll leave it here instead! Price of their sphagnum moss does not add up! 0.57kg for £7, 2kg £9.20 but they never have the 2kg in stock!

There's no longer any public toilets in this store. Self service checkouts. If you need something that's on sale then all good but not to browse as the range doesent change much, just the prices. In saying that I just bought my new kitchen here, but I bought it during a sale at 20% off everything but the latest kitchen sale is just 20% off the basic units and worktops. Everything else like the more exspensive end panels and trims are still full price

Isles clear. Shelves stocked 90% .No staff to ask about paints. Had to work out the paint types myself.

Open late so you can go after work, a big selection tools paint and all equipment and materials you need for any work in your home and garden. It's good to see what you are buying rather than limited view when buying on the internet.

Worst customer service I?ve ever encountered , went in to return an item that wasn?t fit for purpose, then they left me standing for 20mins got me all agitated! Then 3 of the colleagues ganged up on me to say it works and won?t return it despite there receipt saying can return the item within 90days ?Can honestly say I will never be into a B&Q store ever in my life after this and I have previously spent a lot of money in there over the years!!!!

It's B&Q... Prices moderate, selection pretty good, layout makes sense (to me at least).It does have a mindless bigbox store feel to it, but the staff are friendly enough and helpful if you ask.Goinbuygohome.
