Very unprofessional with a small camera on pole and a very long delay before attending asking questions that I felt were not relevant just to ensure it aligns with a result he wanted . What the surveyor said made no sense as he claimed the damage on my roof and fallen tile is as a result of wear and tear and not just the wind .No one have bothered to send me a report and no feedback from churchchill, just found them to be a waste of time, money and energy, would definitely not recommend and will not be renewing. Zero stars!!!

WANTED TO GIVE NO STARS. Awful company - if your insurance company instruct them ask for someone else, unrealistic settlement figures at a 1/3 of costs, no understanding or regional variations, no justification, ignore requests for paperwork with how they came to the figures, emails to MD are ignored, truly shocking company and have a complaint in against them and my Insurance Company for instructing them.

My ceiling was damaged at the height of Storm Babot's red flood warning on 20th October. Very obvious damage with plaster and wood strewn everywhere and rain water leaking through. The contents claim was accepted right away, based just on photos, but the building claim was outsourced to HRNL and has not gone smoothly.26th an inspector came and took some photos from the ground, with a camera on a pole. At the time they stated that there was only 15mm rain, and it would be unlikely to be accepted as storm damage. (Met office recorded 85mm). When this limited inspection is coupled with the complete lack of any kind of report, it's hard not to suspect the decision to deny the claim was pre-meditated (no report was given when my claim was denied, none was uploaded onto Aviva's claims portal, none was given when I asked the company for it and none was given when I asked the inspector directly for it)No response from my contact to them after 5 working days, and the email denying the claim comes from a no-reply email address. Seems vary hard to dispute an outcome. Particularly so when I also make a complaint to Aviva, specifically mentioning it's been over 3 days since complaining, with no response. Only for Aviva to completely disregard my disregard that and tell me to allow HRNL 2 days to deal with it, clearly not reading my complaint saying i'd already waited 3 days.So, the decline of my storm damage claim involved a camera on a stick, no report and a decline with no justification whatsoever. My dispute is turning out to be taking much longer, be much harder and seems to involve a lot more work.With the lack of response from HRNL on proper channels, perhaps a negative review will give them reason to respond.

So fast and easy. I always dread having to sort out things on insurance as it's usually so longwinded. However, Beth was so prompt to reply and get it all sorted. Highly recommend.

Professional and thorough, they were very busy due to storm issues but when I dealt with them everyone was helpful and thorough. Took longer than I would have liked but it was during a ?surge? so hard to mark them down for that.
