“Due to a nationwide shortage of penicillin I was quite stressed as my baby daughter is quite unwell and I'd been to 2 pharmacy's before trying this one. The other pharmacy's had zero interest in helping me or offering advice but this pharmacy couldn't be more helpful. The assistant that greeted me was very kind and spoke to the pharmacist right away who came up with an alternative solution and came to discuss it fully with me. Couldn't ask for better.”

“Gillian and staff quickly and efficiently arranged for my husband's prescriptions to be transferred to glenmavis. They also delivered them in 2 days. Nothing was any trouble for them. One less thing for us to worry about in these difficult days..”

“Amazing independent little pharmacy that genuinely knows and cares for it's patients. Staff go out their way to help when issues arise with prescriptions. A Scottish founded, owned and run company. If you're fed up of your current pharmacy or even if you're not, give Calderbank Pharmacy a try....you won't regret it!”

“They are so helpful and friendly in this pharmacy. Night and day compared to others in Airdrie. Any issues they're happy to help, most issues are caused by the GP surgery to be fair (probably don't have to mention which one, if you know, you know.)”

“Relocated back 15 months ago I chose to use this as my regular Chemist as my Father has used it for yrs with no issues. Personally I've always found anyone I've spoken to helpful and pleasant. I personally find it unbelievable GP's are still unable to give appts but Chemists have worked with everyone who came to the Pharmacy throughout Pandemic. On top of that Pharmacists seems to be taking on more roles that GP's used to do but are they given the same support from the NHS? I would assume not as they are not NHS. Outsourcng "services" when there seems to be no improvement at GP's makes me wonder what they do. For eg. I had bad ear last year, trip to Chemist, 15 mins = advice and ear drops. Not allowed to go to GP's (still not) unless I have appt, spent week and half just trying to get through to speak to a Doc! Sorry for long post but had to get my point across.”

“The best experience I have had at a pharmacy. I was anxious about going in to see the pharmacist given previous horrendous experiences elsewhere but both staff I spoke to were polite professional and friendly. The pharmacist was outstanding and put me at ease despite feeling uncomfortable talking about what I was there for. Thank you so much.”

“I’ve just read some pretty bad reviews of this pharmacy but I can’t agree with them, on this occasion. My husband arrived there, earlier this evening, just a few minutes before closing time, to fill an urgently needed prescription. The prescription had been issued by our BUPA doctor and had to be accessed through an online portal that staff were unfamiliar with. The staff spoke to me over the phone and went out of their my way to make sure I got my meds- even keeping the pharmacy open a few minutes after closing time to do so. Excellent service. Thank you, again.”
