“Came here for the Connect Festival, spent the entire Saturday here which was a surprisingly pretty good day out.We arrived just after 12 in the afternoon as we only had Saturday day tickets. We started off by walking around visiting everything to where things were. There were three stages with each one bigger than the other. We watched at least 1-2 acts on each. Stand out performances were Joy Anonymous, Cara Rose, friendly fires and the headline act Fred Again!We also visited the wellness tents and there were some interesting events going on. We didn't take part in any but they were cool about the fact they were there! I saw yoga, meditation, Circus skills massage therapy tarotcard readings to name a few.I really enjoyed the comedy tent where we spent a good 90 mins just listening to different styles of comedians doing 20 mins sets. Jack Skipper was by far the stand out that I saw! I'd highly recommend him!The food and drink on offer was really plentiful and of good street food options. However the Ques that formed were astronomical! The lines for food were over an hour long and then the line to get your food you ordered started. We had had food earlier in the day and managed to get some within 5 mins. There were a few food traders I've tried before at the Big Feed in Glasgow and wanted to try again but the line was too busy so we opted for a chulos stuffed cookie which was sooo good it actually filled us up. And was cheaper than most meals from other places. I would recommend Dough man's land pizzas all are amazing, Mac the spicy Wan with chorizo harrisa and crispy oinons and chulos red velvet, if you see them at other festivals.The main reason we attended was to see Fred Again. He was just amazing his performance and his actions his words and emotions could all be felt by the crowd he really loves what he does. The videos I've attached to this review speak for themselves. It was one of the best shows I've seen since I saw Daft Punk live at Rockness in 2007.Depending on the line up next year I may be back to Connect Festival so we'll have to wait and see!”

The employee came to me in just two minutes. I went to open an account, I was explained all the relevant details and also advised what would be best for me right now and in the future.”

“I dunno who done it, but the morning of 15/11/23 I done a quick shop and unknowingly left an item behind, well I left and next thing I know just outside the doors a dude was chasing me to give me the item I forgot. Was a really nice gesture tbh, most places would just pop that back on the (If anyone from high office reading this, check the cams from around 6.20am, dude needs thanked and applauded for his service)Not only restored hope in asda, but restored hope in humanity! Top guy. Was just a pack of noodles not worth much at all, but the sentiment really filled my heart with joy and the dude really needs to know his above and beyond service is not unnoticed.”

“A very busy large local store, since moving here in November 2016 we have used this store frequently, more expensive than other local shop's, really don't know why that is, morning rolls are .13p dearer than the ”

“Great station with good range of soft drinks snacks and hot food. There a lady with long dark hair ( tied up )she’s worked there for a long time. I was fuelling at Shell Friday glad to see young lady still there. Customer service is five star Always treated well Would recommend”

“Never been here before, it's definitely the best ASDA we've been to, more like a major shopping mall, a really good ASDA pizza outlet, great value, recharged the batteries of collecting our son after completing the Edinburgh half marathon.Highly recommended.”

“The staff is really helpful. When I couldn't open my bank account online after many attempts, Mrs.Shannon helped me in opening bank account within a few minutes. Would definitely recommend the Morningside branch over other branches.”

“Called in, as I always do to refuel before a long drive north. My exhaust was giving me trouble and been unable to get any garage to tie it up with a metal strap to let me get on my essential journey north. On the forecourt was a man called Davie, wearing high-vis Shell gear. He offered to fill my car, but I'd already begun. He said he'd noticed my car was noisy. I told him the exhaust was hanging down and was hoping I'd get north 150 miles without it falling off. He very kindly said he'd have a quick look. So after fuelling, I took my car over to a quieter spot where Davie, got the jack out of my boot, jacked the car up and said he thought he could tie it up. After a bit of thought, Davie found a metal ring in his car that was big enough to loop round the offending pipe and tie off. Raising the exhaust back to it's original position. This took him no more than 10 minutes. I was delighted with the result and Davie was pleased he'd been able to effect a good repair. I set off and Davie stood listening to the now purring car and bade me farewell with a smile and a wave. Then I drove into a 2 hour traffic jam and my whole journey took 5 hours, tiring, but less noisy, thanks to Davie's deft repair. Thanks to Davie, I got home safely, with my car intact. It's booked in to have the new exhaust fitted this week. I have to say, he did this with a smile and a glad heart, despite wearing a bandage on his arm, supporting an injury of some kind, (I thought it rude to ask). Davie is a real asset to the staff at Crewe Toll filling station, and his cheerful, friendly welcoming disposition would put any frayed motorist at ease. I hope you enjoyed your pint Davie. Cheers! See you next time I'm in to refuel before heading north.”

“It's a normal branch. Includes Business teller. They have new staff which is a bit slower sometimes, but generally no wait or short wait. A solid branch overall.”

“Unlike where I am from. If you are in the bank before closing, they just prevent new entries but finish up with those inside. I was surprised to find out they ask you to leave but politely. The good thing is that I was able to resolve my problems the next day.”

“I am an international student that arrived in Edinburgh on the 10th of September 2022. The next morning I directly opened up a Bank of Scotland account through the mobile app.The application itself has a decent UI which was easy to navigate. However, the security verification was the phase where things get a little bit complicated. In short, I had problem setting up my account due to the pin and security code got lost in the mail...Along my waiting time, I withdrew cash through BoS's branches and they were super helpful. There was a time where I only had BP50 and I was allowed to withdraw it. In the process of my tuition fee payment, BoS's staff were guiding and accompanying me throughout the process.Due to the high amount of payment, there were security measures being implemented and got sorted in the end of the day. It took me one and half hour for the process and personally, I had a pleasant experience. Thank you for your service.”

“A handy petrol station for going towards the centre of the city and notably has a subway inside which I've bought fresh sandwiches on my way into work. Staff on the BP counter are usually cheerful and have a bit of banter when I've been in. The shop seems fairly well stocked for bits and bobs that might be forgotten or needed picked up on the way home.”
