I wear my green Marcia pull-over day after day in the Boston winter. The color is so intense and it is lightweight but VERY warm, and goes with absolutely everything from jeans, to office-wear.”

“Went to this Build-a-Bear Workshop while on vacation with my girlfriend and a friend of mine. Me and my friend bought a bear and my gf got a froggy plushie. It was a really fun experience and the people working there were amazing.While talking about our purchase we also got a chance to talk with the two people who worked there. They were super sweet and interested in our vacation plans. They gave us directions for our next location.Just overall very good experience! 10 out of 10 would recommend!”

“Fantastic little shop which prints t shirts and other clothing items as well as selling their own designs. Great selection of hoodies, t shirts, baby clothes, badges, fridge magnets and other assorted items and super friendly staff. I left my suitcase there when I paid my first visit and they were kind enough to trace me down on Instagram to tell me as I had lost track of where I left it. They held on to it before I could get back to grab it which was amazingly kind ? Just around the corner you have a fabulous view of Edinburgh castle from the grassmarket. Top marks I’ll be back again ?”

“On my wish list of things to see on my heritage travel trip to Scotland in July of 2019 was seeing bagpipers play music. Even more magical would be if I did not have to attend a music festival, concert, or the like to see the musicians play. On my first night in Scotland for the trip (Friday 5 July 2019), I found a pair of bagpipers out front of the Woollen Mill donning full kilt-wear and playing their instruments. The music wafted out across the Royal Mile, setting a very Scotland tone to my evening. After picking up dinner from The Baked Potato Shop around the corner I stood and watched the bagpipers play. “Boots at Ocean Terminal is a great place. With lovely helpful staff. They always have a great range of products at reasonable prices. I phone up for them to get my tablets from my Doctor. They are so helpful and quick to get the prescription. Within a few days I get a txt saying they’re ready. Great store and staff. 5/5 ?”

“TK Maxx on South Saint David's Street just on the East end of Princes Street Edinburgh is massive, I went in here this morning doing some shopping therapy ?.What I like about this store ,first of the staff are helpful and actually show you if asked where certain stuff is located .The store itself is spacious and well laid out with tags from S,M,L,XL, so that it's easy to locate your size.A bonus for older people is the escalators which get you up and down the store without a struggle.Great store ,great staff and also a pick up point if you order online. ?”

“You can get some very nice deals. You can’t find everything that Nike has here, but you can find clothes for leisure, running, football and potentially a few misc. When I was there, there was nothing Jordan for women, sadly.”

“I've been volunteering for the BHF on Portobello High Street for a number of years now. It's a great place to work for all kinds of reasons! There's a great team of management and volunteers, so we all feel well looked after and appreciated. It's also fascinating to see how the shop runs, both on the shop floor and behind the scenes.I help stock the book shelves, and I just love being surrounded by such an interesting and diverse range of writing, from the latest bestsellers to collectibles from my childhood! And it's great getting to help customers choose their next read.All in all, I would really recommend volunteering here. It helped me get through a tough time in my life so I can honestly say that it has done my heart good!”
