The lady who served me was Morag in the ladies checkout in the Glasgow store. She was very helpful and super friendly. Her level of customer service was outstanding and probably of a level I haven?t experienced in a very long time. I was dreading heading into store today to complete my return but Morag?s friendly, helpful and sunny disposition turned my day around. So easy to forget that kindness can go a long way for people.

The John Lewis here is huge, with multiple floors and it can be accessed from either the Buchanan Galleries or the other side where the Buchanan Bus Station is. I've enjoyed browsing through the products on here but I have found this place to be quite pricy but the quality is always excellent. I enjoy looking through the technology section and seeing what's new and what's coming up. I once had an issue with one of the products I purchased and the staff there went above and beyond to ensure that I had my problem solved. They also have toilets here for the customers and they have men's toilets, women's toilets, baby changing and disabled toilets. They are good at accommodating customer needs.

Paid a visit to John Lewis this afternoon. Went down to Sound section. Spoke to expert on Bose sound systems. Was professional and courteous, asked a technical question. Lady was not interested and did not have expertise needed to answer my question. Her final answer, check Bose website!Really annoyed at her unprofessional response. If Bose shops still opened, would have gone there instead. Avoid?This review specifically for Bose personally.Later, went down to appliance. Spoke to Dyson lady. Very glued up and answered all my questions. Impressed?

Usually I?m very pleased with the service of staff in this John Lewis, and I was looking forward towards buying a fragrance from Lancôme today. Coming in I was in a good mood and had high expectations however when I was asking questions about the perfumes they had and trying to smell the ones I was interested in, the woman ?helping? me and my mum turned around and said bye. We were shocked. She walked away to the other side of the stall and just left us in the middle of us trying to get a fragrance. I was not only too stunned to speak but also very upset with todays service. The stall was with Lancôme perfumes. Please go in John Lewis and make sure you are careful with Lancôme stall staff because they are hostile and angry for no reason. Please provide training for your some of your staff John Lewis.Thank you.

Great service - I use John Lewis a fair few times, for electronics, furniture/furnishings and clothing. Very good service, great selection of products and excellent deals. I have to highlight the staff in the electronics department (tvs, phones etc). They are fantastic and willing to help out anyway they can and will go out their way to help. Very knowledgeable, professional and not pressuring at all. Really good staff.

Purchased fully assembled product in store delivered today not fully assembled. Did online chat useless. Called branch telephone hine number which takes you to customer services who said they only deal with online orders not in store orders or purchases. Told me branches have no direct number it goes direct to customer services who only assist with online purchases. Despite the branch number being on my order paperwork and receipt and the advice to contact this number for support or advice etc it does not help with in store purchase. Waste of time. Online chat again cannot help with in store unless I send copy of receipt, did this, cannot help as now it needs case reference for an email reply in 48 hours to me, only option to go back to store! Complete shambles of a service, very poor indeed, first time I have had an issue with this company. Will be last time I purchase. I was told explicitly that my item was fully assembled as seen in store, it came with one door off one half hanging by a screw. It cost a lot too! Be aware folks if you need customer support only buy online!

I was in the Glasgow store last week helping my daughter choose 2 dresses for weddings. All the staff were lovely but 1 particular person was amazing her name was Gale Strauss. She went away and got fascinators to help finish the look so we ended up purchasing them too. It was a lovely experience and the staff were all complimenting my daughter how good she looked in the dresses. Well done John lewis for having first class staff.

I recently moved to Glasgow and I needed a few extra bits and bobs for my new flat. I was looking for some nice cosy lamps to make my new place homier. Steven from the lights department was very friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to help me chose some nice lamps and managed to order one that was sold out online. This day and age you can buy anything online, but the customer service at John Lewis still remains unparalleled.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Robbie who was working at the level 5 exit at 6:10pm and kindly opened the toilets to allow my 3 year old son to use the facilities. I use this store regularly and greatly appreciate the lovely service I always receive from the many departments. The rennovation of the feeding spaces and changing areas is great to see too. It makes me choose to shop with you knowing that these facilities are available. Thank you JL Glasgow?

It's ok.... Not as good as it used to be.You still want to charge " John Lewis Price", no longer offer your historical price promise (never knowingly undersold). Yet you think it's good business to have your staff look trendy in jeans ect, and no longer be customer focused.

Appalling service, particularly in the bedding dept. Staff were talking to each other even though they knew we were in the department. When someone condescended to speak to us, the lack of interest was palpable! No wonder John Lewis is in a mess. Past reputation only lasts so long. Never again.

Staff are trained of the highest calibre, store is modern, well run, and immaculate, products for sale are high quality and yet competitively priced, but they NEVER EVER EVER HAVE ANY STOCK. Fifty kettles for sale and only four in stock, need to wait a month if I want another. I have spent THOUSANDS in the competing Red highstreet store because John Lewis don't have what I want in stock.

Great customer service from Chelsea at the Nespresso stand today, provided all the info I needed to decide what machine I wanted to buy and even set up the warranty for us in store, a great asset to John Lewis ?
