It is one of the most complete centers of department stores. All in one place and not only is clothing also food of all forms and size varieties. There are all the recognized brands and to be recognized in their respective departments, it is not that they are all in conjunction with each other, they are each brand separately even if they are at the same weight. If you need something to buy without going around many times this may be the best place.

I was in john lewis Glasgow 12th September looking for material to upholster dinning room chairs.I can honestly say the young girl and gentleman who helped me were excellent . I only wish I had taken note of their names to mention them in this comment.

I brought a home appliance online and their website mislead me and said it would offer me a next day delivery, next day was in 9 days time, they said the item wasn’t in stock despite the website saying it was and they said they have to order it directly from the manufacturer. Never again will John Lewis get my business, even customer service was dire

Staff are friendly and helpful, however this store appears to struggle during busy hours. I was interested in buying a coffee machine and could find no one to help me. I have had positive experiences in the past during quieter hours where the service has been both personal and practical.

Appalling customer service and antiquated technology with online purchases. Ordered a lawnmower with a 2 week delivery. After 2 weeks and nothing from John Lewis was told I had to wait a further 6 days just to find out what is happening! Extraordinary in this age of advanced communication!

The department store of choice with highly professional staff who don't try to hard sell or upsell and are knowledgeable in their particular area. The surroundings are very good, the facilities excellent, product choice is very good and with guaranteed matched prices. There is little to complain about if they sell the product you are looking for.

Friendly and helpful staff and excellent selection of goods. Though prices are quite high, I am quite happy to shop here just because of how excellent the service is. It can be very busy at weekends, but pleasantly browsable during the week.

Well laid out store. Lots of variety from John Lewis own brand items to designer brands. A number of bargains available. The service is very good with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would recommend this store and will certainly be back.

yet again let down by John Lewis. Is it any wonder profits have collapsed? Customer service is truly appalling. Bought and paid £3000 for bedroom carpet to be fitted. Initial delivery delayed by a week due to manufacturing fault. Fitting then pushed back by two weeks to reorder carpet. Now fitting pushed back by further two weeks as fitter is busy. What an absolute disgrace. Out of my bedroom for 6 weeks because this company is utterly shambolic.

Customer service is generally very pleasant in the fabric/haberdashery dept. Today, Diane was so very helpful and really lovely to do business with - to the extent that John Lewis will now be the primary retailer on my list for my sewing needs. Happy to shop here 🙂

One of my favourite shops. Staff are lovely. I don't buy clothe there but I do buy electrical stuff you get good advice. I see so I do buy sewing stuff.

Spent close to an hour in the electrical section looking at headphones and speakers. At no point did any member of staff come and ask if I was getting on okay or needed any help. I had to walk the whole length of the store to find a service desk where security tags could be removed from products to inspect them. The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful though she did seem rushed off her feet.
All the while there was a group of 3-4 members of staff standing chatting amongst themselves in front of the televisions not 10 metres from me while I was looking at headphones. I didn't feel valued as a potential customer due to the fact I wasn't in store to spend £3000 on a television.
I am a loyal customer and shop regularly in John Lewis. My last visit was well below the level of customer service I have experienced in the past and have come to expect both here and in other John Lewis stores. I left happy with my purchase but disappointed in the service.

Love John Lewis. Walking around freely excellent choice for all shapes and sizes. Fabulous customer service. Picked up online order and the staff were happy and courteous at pick up point.
