“Hallelujah for Sainsburys. They were the only supermarket in Hamilton that had a stock of quark. The store is clean. The staff are friendly and the lovely clothes as you enter the store are very enticing. I bought some fruit and vegetables, as they looked lovely and fresh.”

“Iceland isn't the most reasonably priced food shop, but it does have a few gems. The store is always clean and tidy. Security is on point. Sometimes only one till serving, and some of the staff a little chatty”

“Good bargains especially for your home and groceries. I also find that they have products that may be difficult or scarce to get in some stores or supermarkets .”

“We use this Lidle often. Our grocery shopping is usually Lidl first and then to Asda for anything else we couldn't get there. The shop has toilets. They have fresh, baked sections that set them apart from Aldi. The veg is usually newer than Aldi, but their store lacks the same organisation. I don't think Lidl's have cracked the store layout yet; it still feels too jumbled up for the average Western shopper. The till checkout is probably faster than I would like, with goods being processed quickly. This is compared to Aldi, who will open up more tills and increase customer throughput . Lastly, Lidl offers a reward scheme, which Aldi do not. Overall, though, it is a good shop.”

“This little tesco is a great place, 99% of the staff are very lovely and helpful, genuinely nothing is a bother. I go in several times a day 4 coffee and if the machine is down they will always make sure I still get my coffee, absolutely lovely bunch.”

“This is my 'local' shop and it certainly kept us going during lockdown and ever since. I do a good-sized shop there several times every week.It's not as large as some supermarkets, but it stocks a wide range of goods, and while the prices of some things are higher than at other places, many items are lower ...so it evens out. They carry organic milk (always fresh) and a good range of other products as well.The store is clean, fresh, felt VERY safe to visit during lockdown, and their staff are fantastic—approachable, helpful, and know their products. What's more, this store seems to keep their staff, at a range of ages, for a long long time—sign of a good employer. The staff are very quick to respond to a queue buildup, and their checkouts move really well. I have no complaints, and am so grateful that they are in walking distance of our home.Thank you all for your excellent service over the years.”

“The store is well set out and prices not bad, considering cost of life crisis. There are some known brands as well as their own. The Aldi at Welhall Road is usually better stocked than the Palace Grounds. Parking is OK. Staff are consistent and nice”

Tills well manned so a seamless shopping experience is guaranteed . A lot of gourmet options available too. I would reccomend this store. Ideal for those of us on a budget.”

“This used to be my local Asda when I lived in Hamilton, it's a superstore and I liked that they had a huge range of different products so it meant if I needed anything, then I could go to Asda and they would probably have it on sale. I liked that they have excellent opening hours and that I can now use my phone to scan the products to reduce the time it takes for me to do my shopping. It has good public transport links and I think it's a great place to shop.”

“Five stars well deserved for this branch of Morrisons. Well stocked store, brilliant parking facilities. Highly recommend the restaurant, well worth a visit - popped in yesterday for lunch, had the "Ultimate" Fish and Chips - a huge freshly cooked portion of food - it was fantastic, never seen such a huge portion of fish! Top marks, will definitely be back.”
