Plenty of parking with access straight into shop and cafe area. There is also a bus stop so if travelling by bus can get off right outside. Tickets are reasonable and the site is dog friendly. Cafe area is nice and has a good menu selection for food and drinks. The gardens themselves wow. So many different areas to explore...

The trails and views were fantastic. There were a few challenging trails and some fairly easy trails. The scenery changed throughout the walks. This is a good place to unwind after a busy day or spend the whole day to soak it all in. The trails weren't crowded at all.

From Benmore Botanic Garden
Benmore, a regional garden of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, is a magnificent 120-acre mountainside Garden surrounded by the dramatic scenery of Argyllshire. Steeped in history, Benmore is home to a world-famous collection of plants from regions ranging from the Himalaya, China and Japan to North and South America.
Benmore welcomes visitors through an avenue of 150 year old giant redwoods, arguably one of the finest entrances to any botanic garden. Other highlights include the beautiful Victorian Fernery, the Garden's meticulously restored Golden Gates and the Bhutanese and Chilean pavilions.
Open daily from 1 March - 31 October.
