I went to the Barnstable branch of dfs to have a browse and was greeted by two male members of staff who were both extremely courteous and knowledgeable without being pushy will definitely return to the store when I am ready to purchase

My mother bought a new sofa from DFS and paid through DFS for the old one to be removed by Clearabee. They were in a rush and didn?t listen to my mother who suggested they break it down more to get out of the door. So result was this. We have ring doorbell evidence too.The removal men looked annoyed and say when my mother is out of earshot ?We should have said no, you try and do your best for people!?Well actually my mother paid for it to be removed, it?s not a favour by these men! Can you respond asap, I?m furious!

I am not able to use the chaise lounge on our sofa as it dips in on the back raising the feet area. Enfield store manager called and rudely said that there was nothing they could do. I have tried to fix the problem by doing a quick DIY job which i am sharing on every platform. Shame on you DFS

I ordered a sofa and easiglide. The sofa was delivered but not the easiglide. DFS failed to text me a delivery time for today and expect me to wait in from 7 am to 5 pm for the item to arrive, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I would be contacted within 72 hours. As the customer I am being penailsed for their mistake! Not happy!!

I?ve waited 6 months for apart for tripletta swivel chair and still you haven?t repaired it yet it cost £1000 and we?re not happy with your excuses and want a full refund I have tried and tried to get satisfaction from you but to no avail I?ve also added pictures of said chair and need an answer from you disappointed customer

ONLINE ORDERBeing 2 disabled people needing urgent reclining chairs we ordered 2 that said delivery within 7 days, 2 weeks later and now being told 10th November!!Due to a broken sofa and non delivery of these I ended up in hospital on morphine due to my back and hips.I have rang about 10 times last 5 days, each time being told they?d email the dispatch delivery department or I?ve been cut off with no call back FALSE ADVERTISING OF 7 DAY DELIVERY!!

Although DFS delivery was fine. Collection was awful. DFS customer service is not great either. Clearabee (who DFS recommend and you pay for the service through), never turned up on the Friday to collect my old sofas, the day before my corner sofa was due to be delivered. In the end I managed to get a couple off Gumtree to collect it for free just before DFS arrived on the Saturday. Trying to get a refund is a nightmare with both Clearabee and DFS telling me the other needs to refund me. I think it is DFS as the credit agreement is with them that I signed up to. It just carries on. The last call was awful the guy on the phone called me luv sarcastically and constantly. Don't call me luv! Also the managers insist on calling you back, even when I said I would be at work in a call centre and please could they email instead. Still waiting for refund a week on.

Will never order from DFS again. Have had horrendus service from the call centre. Can?t phone the branch directly which I am sure if you could issue would have been resolved alot better. Call centre are not helpful atall and don?t seem to care. Would NOT recommend to anyone after the experince I have had.

Ordered a wardrobe and paid for in full on 18th July 2023. Told delivery would be 1 to 2 weeks. Two weeks came and went, if checking order status online it kept saying it was processing. Went back to store on 6th August enquiring about this order to be told - oh there was a glitch and order never progressed on to next step. They could not give a deiivery date so I asked for the order to be cancelled. What a journey this has been I have been told on 6 occasions from 5 people that only the manager can cancel an order? There was a glitch and cancellation not processed to next stage (Sounds familiar). Sent email to contactus@dfc informing DFS legal action will be taken in the next 14 days if money not returned to my Bank Account. Whoever received this email is a clot, they don't seem to know who deals with this within the Company they work for. Gave me a number for Wincanton to check on delivery of item . I DON'T BELIEVE IT. Phoned credit card company yesterday and they have placed temporary refund back into my account. So DFS deal with the Bank and not me. I will never walk back over the threshold of the Company again. BUYERS AWARE

Never written a bad review in my life, but this company and this store is deserving of it. Received faulty sofas. Hadn't been even a year and sofa interiors collapsed. They came to fix it and fixed half of it. The service manager even said I should take it elsewhere to get it fixed. LOL! Out of my own pocket money?! I spent 2,000 on the sofas as a gift for my disabled mother - the company cannot even acknowledge that. WHAT A DISGRACE. Been trying to get through to them that half of my sofas were fixed. Received an unprofessional voicemail from the store saying "We fixed the interior of sofas, what is the problem now?". AVOID THIS COMPANY AS A WHOLE. DO NOT BUY.

Shocking customer service, what on earth is going on with this company?? Surely someone must be accountable. Left with a very damaged sofa and 1 year later still unresolved due to an error they made. Buyers please be aware.

Worse company to deal with. Ordered chair and arrived wrong colour months after it was supposed to arrive. It was also made prior to my order so it wasn?t made for me but they just gave me someone?s rerun in hope I?ll accept it!Taking them to court as customer rights were breached.

If I could give a minus 5 stars I would. My wife and I bought a sofa in June 2021, a beautiful stone corner sofa. We discovered 2 weeks after buying the sofa that it was infested with bedbugs and we called complain and were told we need to deal with it ourselves nd get our own inspection done despite being within the return period. We were then told that there was no way the bedbugs cane from the sofa therefore they would not take responsibility. Have argued for 2 years and asked DFS to collect the sofa and have been ignored. We have had to get rid of beds, wardrobes, bookshelves, tables, etc. After going back and forth with DFS via email, they said they won't collect the sofa and take responsibility unless we had proof. We had to pay extortionate amounts of money to get pest control to check the sofa and the house. Not only did DFS still refuse to collect the sofa, they tried to discredit the pest control company. My family and I have been living in hell because of the sofa and the horrific treatment of DFS. Such disgusting treatment from such a big company. Lovely products but can a company that has a such poor quality control and horrendous customer service really be seen as a trusted retailer?

Ordered the Darcy 3 Seat Open End Sofa with the Footstool. Both products upon inspection had approximately 10 marks including small/large scrapes & small punctures. The Footstool especially had a large scrape on one side.Installation team were polite but very rough handling the furniture, unknown whether they caused these damages or the packing of the delivery or somewhere in the manufacturing process.Upon calling to resolve they have organised a Repair service to come out in 31 days. I will amend this review once this has taken place to assess the efficacy of this service. I have struggled to get a paper trail of communications from the email provided, the online chat service did however appear to provide confirmation.

Bought a sofa that has a horrid smell to it. Unable to use the room it is in and the smell permeates the house. The customer service has been abismal, they have 72 hours to ring you back - not good enough. I have been going back and forth trying to get this resolved and you have no way of escalating the complaint. I would not purchase with dfs had I known how difficult the customer care Elmer would be
