Friendly company, lacks the staff presence sometimes but prices are OK and their own brand dog food is great value for money and our dogs love it. We mix it with kibble, salmon oil, raw food and frozen sprats. They sit waiting everyday.Recently joined their club and we are getting 15% off as well, per month on anything you buy.

I found the receptionist at the Meadowhall vet practice very rude, uncaring and unprofessional. After missing my appointment, due to an unexpected event, to take my puppy for her 2nd vaccine I called the store to apologise and to try to arrange to bring my puppy that same day. The receptionist stated that unless I could come immediately, in which I did the vet would be finished at 6 and would not be able to see us. I set of immediately, arrived at the store 17.55 when the vet was stood in the office but the receptionist told the vet she had closed things down on the laptop therefore would not allow her to give my dog the vaccine. She had told me on the phone, the receptionist, not vet that unless the 2nd vaccine was given that day my puppy would have to have the whole course again and despite her telling me this was still unwilling to allow the vet to vaccinate my puppy.I cannot believe the uncaring nature of this member of staff and would never recommend this company to anyone.

Heads up, they don't sell fish 20 minutes before closing. I could write more, but I can not be arsed. One thing I will say is I've had a snail ingestion from buying a live aquarium plant from here.

First time visit here and I will definitely return. The animals seemed looked after, happy and clean. They had a small selection of guinea-pigs and a selection of fish.If you are looking for cat toys or a selection of cat scathing posts more interesting than Pets At Home then I'd recommended this place, the selection isn't huge but nicely different. The selection of dog toys and natural treats are equally good. I was very happy to find dried chicken feet here, one of the dogs favourite treats. We dropped in on a really busy day, I think there was a free microchipping event which meant a queue out the door and the cutest array or dogs visiting. Unfortunately, for me, the microchipping station was right in front of the clothing rail so I couldn't get what I needed but that gives me a wonderful excuse for a return visit in a couple of days!

My niece and I visited a few weeks ago on a hot day and the rabbits looked very unwell. There was one in particular laid, not moving. She notified staff who took a look and agreed it wasn?t well. They took it into the back and they advised they would seek advice and notify a vet. I noticed that the store was exceptionally warm.. and would imagine that played a part in it. I revisited this weekend gone.. another hot day and noticed that this time they had mini fans on their enclosures. I cannot believe a store who claims to care about the welfare of their animals would not have air conditioning. My smart watch was reading the temperature inside at around 35 degrees! I?m disgusted, a small fan that will just be circulating warm air and a frozen bottle of water laid in their cages. It?s really not acceptable!! I couldn?t even bare to shop my usual purchases as the air was so stagnant. The animals deserve better and the staff should not be forced to work in these conditions during the summer, if supermarkets can keep their premises cool without live animals being sold I?m sure Jollyes can! I contacted rspca regarding my concerns.

The vaccination service. It might be only £25 but I waited 25 mins whilst the person tried to work out how to use the tablet that has the inventory on it. Your animal, instead of being lifted onto a table as it would be in the vets, so you can secure & hold it to stop it from being able to reach the person vaccinating it, is vaccinated on the floor. The only time my dog shows aggression is when it is vaccinated & I am too old to be getting down onto my hands & knees to hold it. No muzzles are used. 3 times my dog was stuck with the needle, aggravated distressed & stressed out, before it was successively vaccinated. No. I will not be returning. I'd rather pay the full amount at a veterinary practice who will do the job without totally kicking my dog off to a point it wants to bite someone.

Polite, courteous and knowledgeable staff who point out how you can better look after your pet whilst also saving money. Much better personal service than other well established pet store chains.

After another pet shop that's closer to us and didn't have what we wanted, we drove miles to get here and so glad we did. The pets look well looked after, the birds tweeted to me (budgies) and the staff are really friendly and look like they're enjoying their work.A place that I'd like to work one day :)
