I was not offered the former and declined the latter because it is apparent they are applying double standards. You want a banking holiday in the sun. Stay in Spain.”

“Probably the only TSB branch in the city, however cannot fault the staff. A few months ago a transaction flagged up on the fraud department as as a result my card was blocked, had to provide ID before block was removed. It was quickly dealt with the staff here.. Shame the fraud department take so long to answer the phone though.Also be weary of using the cash machine outside. There has been times where someone sleeping rough has sat outside the cash point begging for money, this can unnerve some people and put people off from using the machines. But rest assure there are plenty of machines which can be used inside for peace of mind if you prefer”

“The only reason this review is 5* is because of the loveliest most helpful young man I've ever come across.\\nThe situation at hand was quite sensitive but he remained so helpful and concerned, even when his manager was peering over saying there was nothing they could do.\\nMaybe next time as a manger go and speak to the person's face rather than peering over a booth when I'm on the brink of tears.\\nI wish I got his name but honestly credit to him, some of the best customer service I've received .”

“I have been a customer of the Halifax for many years and use the Longton branch regularly. The staff have always been courteous and helpful even when the place has been very busy with customers. Since the Covid outbreak the staff have maintained the branch and all credit to them. I wish them all well and hope this branch remains.”
