As they don?t open until 09.30 not very user friendly for businesses. 09.00 this morning one ATM out of order, the other the contactless card / wifi system doesn?t appear to work.

I do most of my banking by smartphone, although this is my local $antander branch should I need its supposedly High Street services. However, I just cannot believe how many occasions I've attempted to use their on-site, 2 outside ATMs, only to find that at least one of them is OUT OF ORDER, or both are set to the pathetic LIMIT: £20

I took my elderly disabled Dad into the town just to sort out his account and other issues he was having, so I went into the branch ( Carr st Ipswich) with the hope of sitting down with someone and sorting everything out and ask a few question about his account, only to find the branch was only half open with two people at the cashier counter and no one there to assist, So I went to the cashier counter only to be told to go online and sort the account out via the website. So Santander will be losing my dads account as I then went to another different Bank where there were real people willing to talk to us and help. Absolutely appalled at the service with Santander. What are elderly people without laptops or computers supposed to do if they need help like my Dad did.

Made a special trip into town after checking opening times only to find on arrival closed at 2pm. Not a lot of help putting a. notice in the window its too late when you have arrived. Perhaps someone with a ounce of customer service would update the website....Expect its the normal excuse all down to covid.

Went to oay a large sum of money in to the lpswich branch today.Looked on line saying that they are open between 10am to 2pm Saturday 13th of June.Found out when i got there that they were not openI was not the only one there who did the same as meWhen looking around town found out some of the building societies and barclays bank was open from 10 to 4This is rubbish service fron Santander.Next week i will be opening a new bank account with another bank so i can pay my large cheque in there instead.Plus cancel all my other services with themJust wasted a days travelling to Ipswich all for nothing.

Opening hours are awful and can't pay cheques online like every other bank, personally isn't convenient for me but the staff are nice and friendly

We phone using the secure app on my son's phone to request a contactless card for his account. Was advised we needed to go in store with photo ID to do this. No problem.Then they blocked his account as apparently phoning from his verified phone is suspicious!We went into branch to sort the issue and was told it was sorted. My son tried to log into his account and it is still locked.To top this off the new card they have sent is not contactless!Will now have to go in branch again this Saturday and hope they can sort this out.Not a happy customer!

Have used this Bank since the age of 14 so just shy of 10 years and never had any issues. Never had a time where I had any wishes to change. Staff are efficient and do exactly what is asked and needed in the profession. Bank itself is Clean and always has enough staff to help with any queries or problems.
