“I like Aldi. Fruit & veg are fresher than Lidl"s & morrisons You also have the opportunity to buy "wonky" veg..imperfect but just as fresh for less.Good selection of produce for size of store.Excellent vegan range. Fresh, frozen & long life. It's always clean & tidy in my Lowestoft shop. Staff are helpful & approachable. This is my first go to shop for groceries in Lowestoft.I just wish they did a loyalty scheme like Lidl s do & had recycling like Tesco's..hence one star deducted.”

“Have a better variety now than used to plus can get some good offers. Find some things really expensive to other Supermarkets.Shop there from time to time as it's my local.”

“Always clean & staff are polite & helpfulYou don't have to wait in queues long before someone opens up another til.I would shop here all the time if not for the following reasons..* not all fresh fruit and veg is temperature controlled, thus shelf life is very short.* I always have to 'top up' my shop elsewhere...range is better in Aldi* the pet food range is limited & my lot won't eat it, unfortunately.* I won't buy bakery items from Lidl as the serve yourself section is not hygienic.I've seen people sneeze, squeeze, poke & prod the unpacked produce.. not using the tongs provided...plus it's been exposed to air & air borne germs for hours so isn't the freshest imo.Apart from these few blips, the shop is great.Even has toilets. Also very cleanAnd WiFiAnd an app, with coupons and benefitsWhich Aldi has not.”

There are staff on the shop floor should you need their help.My favourite section is the bakery where there is a good selection of bread, pastries, croissants etc.”

“If you have more than a few taste buds per square centimetre and quality counts you must shop at regular supermarkets because the discount stores in their own way are still trying to maximise their profits the outcome being ersatz products.”

“Claire with the pink here was an absolute babe !! She helped me get cash back on the self service machine and was just generally really willing to help and had a happy disposition. I hope she gets to see this and gets a reward. I couldn’t find my receipt to do it on the Asda website.Claire keep smiling and spreading happiness ❤️”
