Went in to change my name on my account. Was in there for 45 minutes sat with some young chap whilst he did it for me. Took ages. Left under the impression it was all done and received my new card a week later. However, my internet banking and account details are still in my old name, it wasn?t done correctly. I have called Lloyds to ask them to change this over as there is now a mismatch between my card and my bank and I have to go back into a branch to do this! My nearest branch is 35 minutes away and I?ve already been through this once. According to the man on the phone at Lloyd?s, my profile wasn?t updated correctly in branch. A complete faff.

Absolutely shambolic. Went into the newport branch after being passed around several different departments online. It was only what I can describe as like being in the naughty class at school. Sat at a desk with people listening to what should have been private business, people trying to get the bank staff to stop dealing with us and deal with them. Feel so sorry for the staff who were very helpful and apologetic trying to work in this environment,being abused by people who didn't seem to grasp the concept of privacy and respect. Both myself and my wife were so disappointed we will be moving to another bank after being with lloyds for over 35 years.Would just add that this review in no way reflects on the staff who were very helpful.
