There were a pair of difficult customer and Reese and Rachel (hope I ave that right!) dealt with the situation with the perfect balance of compassion and boundaries. It could have been a horrible situation but they were excellent. They also gave us a free breakfast to say sorry for the scene which was unnecessary but appreciated. They both deserve a pay rise or some kind of praise for how brilliant they were and how comfortable and at home they made us feel despite really difficult circumstances. Hats of guys! Thanks for the hospitality.

Rooms are ok, some unpleasant smells so keep the window?s open. The communal areas are mostly quite smelly especially near reception where it smells of decay. Not the worst Travelodge but that?s hardly a compliment I guess?

Arrived at Swansea Central Travelodge with 3 rooms booked for family & in laws. Each room was missing toilet roll, handwash / soap & shampoo / body wash. Rooms appeared dirty, towels were on floor.Went to reception to complain and was given 2 coffee cups with handwash & shampoo.I found this stay absolutely horrid.

Need to pay for car park , quite noisy environment especially over the weekend. Close is a church and early in the morning they ringed the bells. Probably for very young people it?s something they would like, however if you are working or you want to have a good rest you would like something

Their website was a pain to use (couldn't validate non UK postcodes), so had to use PayPal to pay. Walk ins not allowed either and phone number is a premium line. The hotel itself was clean and modern though - rooms were good value

Rooms are spacious and quite clean. But doors and walls are paper thin and if you are sound sensitive, be aware. Stg I don't suspect that could be true today - you have to oay additionaly for wi-fi! That's ridicoulus! Breakfast - that's the worst bfst I've ever eat at hotel, and I travel a lot across Europe. Scrambled eggs tasted like... Hm ... Paper? Wet hay? Cheap bread for tosts and awful granola... Oh, and orange juice with so much water, that it's colour only what was left from oranges. All to all - handy location, but very very avarage establishment.

Everything was excellent, room was lovely, really comfortable bed. Staff were absolutely fantastic especially Aled & Rachel. Will definitely go for longer next time, as this was only one night .I would recommend this hotel.

Great clean rooms with plenty of space. Front desk staff were lovely and very helpful. Perfectly located for a night out, and a nice bar in the hotel to start off. Been a few times, always a good experience.

I've stayed at Swansea Central Travelodge a number of times over the last few months. The staff here are excellent. Friendly, professional and helpful. They really make me feel at home. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping is by request and again done professionally and efficiently. Wi-fi works perfectly. I've been able to take advantage of discounted prices as I've had some longer stays and it actually works out cheaper than I am paying at home! I've been able to stream live tv without any problems. The location is perfect. Just 2 minutes walk from the restaurants, pubs, clubs and venues of Wind Street. So convenient but far enough away to be quiet at night time enabling a good sleep. The self service breakfast has everything you could ask for. Overall a great place to stay and explore Swansea on foot or by public transport. The care and attention from the marvellous managers, reception staff and housekeeping staff make it really special

I visited Travelodge in the second week of September. Had a great time there with my family, the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and were welcoming. The food service was great.

Hotel was lovely and central location. Didn?t enjoy breakfast very much as was cold. Fruit was not covered and with the hot weather we had, there were a lot of flies landing on it. Bed was very comfortable and room Very spacious

Firstly, one of the lifts was completely out of service and the lift in service could not reach the top floor unless you permanently held down the button floor. Secondly the balcony was truly a monstrosity. Not only was the odour coming from it absolutely rancid, it was truly a nasty site to see. There was mould all over the bathroom and a strange smell in the room altogether. The handwash and shower gel compartments were swapped making it difficult to use either of them. Truly the worst use of money ever. Would not recommend to an enemy.

Travelodge Swansea is in a great location, 10 min walk from all central Swansea and the beach front. Hotel itself clean and well maintained. Outside noise including a busy 24 hour carpark and church bells took a little getting use to. Would avoid the Hotel Restaurant, no atmosphere and lack of items on the menu limited what meals available (especially a problem as a Vegetarian) . Food was either too cold, or over cooked. The staff tried their best, but were covering the reception at the same time, so couldnt really attend to the restaurant properly. Beds were okay, but needed extra pillows.

The Plus room was a good size and quiet. I didn't realise we had to pay for parking (£5 for 24 hours which isn't too bad) and also pay for wi-fi (£3 for 24 hrs). Location was very convenient and proximity to Marina with all the restaurants was made for an enjoyable evening.

Spaces room but no air con or enough fan which was a downfall. The rooms smelled were bleachy. The breakfast was definitely value for money but the coffee and juice was a very poor quality. Staff were very good!
