There has been a lot of updates and improvements at Twycross over the last few years. My son is 6 years old and he loves the play area which sits outside the zoo in the reception centre. Great zoo for the price and size. Enough animals to see, interactive for kids. Includes a large gruffola experience. There is a restaurant, shops, toilets and soft play and a park outside with plenty of seats. Great deal when buying a day ticket you get a free yearly pass. A really nice day out. Staff are enthusiastic (especially the young lady in the butterfly house with the tapir pin badge-so sorry I forgot your name but our son really enjoyed hearing all of your knowledge!) and friendly.The animals appear well cared for and as happy as is possible when in captivity.I found the whole park... read full comment
