Oh Mike, what have you done. What once was a nice store is now a dump. Looks shocking.Staff didn't help one bit either. Looked like they had given up.Won't return. Shame.

Always been a customer at house of fraser Birmingham City Centre for many years. However last few visits over a few months have been very disappointingdue to the 'couldn't care less' attitude from the sales staff in the shoe area and the ladies clothing. Miserable, unsmiling and unhelpful. They've also closed off the toilets which is a really bad move in a huge department store. I can only guess that this is due to so called 'customers' messing them up, and using them as a wash room, but come on! Think about your genuine customers and pay staff to check/clean them regularly. Perhaps you need to pay a decent wage and get some staff who are happy to work there as well ! No wonder online shopping is taking over. Such a shame ?

Horrible. I would rate 0 but not possible. The staff are incredibly rude. The clothes were all on the floor. I am disgusted.

Original No 1 Store in Birmgham for High Fashion and Top Quality Perfumes. Bull Ring has tempted Customers away. Construction of Birmingham Metro Rail caused Disruption outside for Two Years. Customers chose the New Bull Ring to Shop. When owned by the Al Fahid Group it was Excellent Place to be for Shopping. With New Investment of Previous High Quality Merchandise the Store will return to it's Former Place in Birmingham City Shoppers Place to Shop at.

To be honest, it's a good store. If you take the time, you can make a purchase, but the most important thing for the customer when buying is the light. Unfortunately, the 4th floor has a lamp problem, especially the section where the jackets are, it's very difficult to buy. Also, there is no fitting room on the 4th floor.

Really sad to see it in this state. Mike Ashley may have saved the brand, but he's killed this store. Lifts look like they are about to break down, several clothing items I looked at had holes in them, and those that didn't all seemed to have a different price on them. Bought a pair of jeans that had a £135 sticker on, with 50% off marked price plastered everywhere. The store charged me £80 for them. Then returned them to me in a bag having clearly tried to scratch off the pricing label. When challenged they said, "oh sometimes people put other prices on them to try and get them for less, but we can only honour what it scans at". The same pair of jeans online are currently priced at £125, and in the sale for £65. The place is a shambles, and I won't be returning. Really uncomfortable atmosphere in there, and a sorry state compared with what it used to be like.

Sorry but this store is disgusting. Staff are consistently rude, shop looks disgusting, jewellery boxes when you look inside are a dirty bright Yellow inside.Prices are still absolutely sky high and the only change is 20% off signs in a dirty store? Yuk! Avoid.

Specifically the free pop up Christmas area. It?s great for photos of the family and selfies. Cute and worth a trip if you want some photos. Not sure if it?s an annual thing.

Popped in because my son wanted to go to Game... Lots of, I guess bargains? Felt like I was in a flea market not a well known department store... First off the exterior of the building looked like it was an abandoned building.. Broken cladding and windows.. Moss and mold all. Over the exterior... Once inside and past the cheap smelling purfumes a strong smell of damp.and mold and rot took. Over on the upper levels.. Really off. Putting if I wanted to buy any clothes

Went in here a few weeks ago, will not be visiting again, unless serious changes are made! Rackhams, as was, a classy dept store, this place is just full of tat. Walking in, the perfume and make up counters are practically abandoned, actually push bikes on sale on this floor! As you go up through mens, womens, children, all the lovely displays and outlet sections have gone, just rail after rail of sale clothing like a jumble sale. I felt sorry for the remaining original staff, it is so depressing in there. Avoid at all costs!

This place is terrible. I went in yesterday and got two Nike sports tops - priced at £15 each or 2 for £25. I picked 2 the same and got some other sports clothing - a small pile. However today I just noticed that I was actually charged £20 for each top. I know I should have checked but I was rushing to catch a train. I live 80 miles away so cannot return immediately. Avoid at all costs - unless you enjoy being fleeced. I won't shop at dishonest retailers.

Michealla provided an exceptional experience. I sampled several sliders, and she not only purchased a couple of different ones for me but also pointed out additional options in the store. I'm sharing this review because such outstanding service is a rarity in most retail establishments, and it deserves recognition.

Absolute dump of a place. Can't believe this is what House of Fraser has turned into.No order to anything. Empty shelves. Rubbish on the floor.Felt more like a car boot sale. Will not be returning

Couldn?t believe this place was once a House of Fraser- it?s like an overpriced car boot sale. I walked around for less than 5 minutes and saw nothing of any interest to me. Cheaply displayed rows of tat in a very tired run down old department store
