“I would like to thank the staff at Bloxwich Home Bargains. After doing some Christmas shopping last week I got home to find i had lost some money. I went in the shops i had been in to to ask if anyone had handed anything in. Not expecting to see it again how things are. How lucky I was when I went in to Home Bargains to find the member of staff at the check out i had used had found it and handed it in. I can not thank her enough for her kindness and honesty. It just shows there is still some decent people out there. How happy and relieved I felt when that money was handed back to me. “First of all, anyone on a budget shouldn't touch the doors with a ten foot barge pole, the prices are rather high. But if you got the cash to spare and want high quality, solid service and a cafe then go for it. The only reason I was there was to do some emergency shopping and the quality of what I bought was good. Overall a nice shop but overpriced.”

“One of their smaller shops, but we'll stocked. It's located in Bloxwich market square. Shelves are always well stocked, and staff are friendly. Parking is around 200 metres away, which is good for carrying a big shop back to your car.”

“It's an older lidl store and quite small. So naturally, it feels tighter and a little untidy. It was around 9am and there were long queues at 4 open tills. A 5th was opened. No self service tills (I don't think that's a bad thing) staff very polite. Despite how busy they were very chatty and pacey. Learned the Manager was great as she was called to the till and attended with a smile.”

“This is a good convenience store. Prices are not cheap for a lot of food. You can find some bargains if you go in late afternoon. They are selling small pots of Rodda's Clothed Cream, (at the moment), for £1.25 a pot. They do sell some fruit, vegetables, and potatoes. They also sell sandwiches and other foods for lunches. They have a coffee machine too. I think this is a new service, but they have a Hermes point for parcels. Not sure if that is to send or receive parcels. I do like their fresh bakery products, but they are not the cheapest. There are some frozen foods as well. They do sell some cat and dog food too. They have got their own brand of mince pies in, as well as other festive foods in. Worth having a look at.?”

“The younger staff are totally useless, don't seem to want to work but the older staff seem to have to do all the work. At least 1 member of the older staff never keeps still & is always extremely helpful & nothing is too much trouble for her. The store is usually quite clean compared to other co-ops that I have been in.”
