Absolutely appalling service. My dad who us 83 has been trying to get an appt for 4 days. He managed to get down today, only to be turned away and told ge needed to queue at 8am tomorrow. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Appalling treatment Thornton

Despite the difficulties all GP practices are experiencing due to inadequate staffing levels my experience has been that Thornton Medical Practice does as well as it can under the circumstances. Yes, it can be difficult getting through on the phone sometimes, but this is due to the high volume of calls the practice receives daily. It's not fair to suggest that staff are anything less than 100% commited to providing a good service under extremely testing and under resourced conditions.

Called this morning and after stating my name and reason for calling, they said they will look into my issue and call back. I received no call back. I just called back to which they had no record of me ever previously calling. The woman I just spoke to clearly wanted to do anything else but help me. After confirming where my prescription was she hung up abruptly. I could barely fit in to say thank you. Awful service. I understand if you don't like your job but please show 1% enthusiasm as you are helping people in need.

Absolutely shocking surgery can never get an appointment no matter what time you phone, phoned today as struggling to breath was told this isn't urgent and phone back in the morning. What a joke now having to go to a&e due to this none urgent issue

I am a patient have been for 22yearsI am a carer I cry myself to sleep at night worrying about my condition worrying who will care for my wife if I go ,I pluck up courage to ring the doctor to make an appointment to be told I am too late or its training day,where is the caring doctors if I do get to speak to someone they don't knowme and don't care

This doctors was not meant for this amount of residents to use... it is clear it is failing on all levels due to the surgery not having enough staff or doctors. It is OK Bradford Council forcing houses to be built in the area but the services can't cope.

Taken personal details identified me as a patient at the surgery before terminating the call? You know who you were speaking to Carol if the call ended accidentally ring back! Is it too much to ask? Yes we have Covid and services are stretched but surely Covid has not affected peoples common sense or has it?

Trying to order my medication on the surgery app, I have to say I haven't had previous issues but this month I have tried on my phone via app and my work laptop and I am getting the same message saying it isn't a secure website and wont let me go any further. On the website we are asked not to go to the surgery or telephone requests. Id like to know how we should request our medication. I am caller number 8 as I need to order my medication some how but may not have time to wait so would have to try ring again if kept waiting a long time. This causes stress and concern.
