Increasingly disappointed with the practise. Doctors are dismissive and reception staff are rude. They cut you off and leaving feeling like you?ve wasted everyone time. Patches is the worst thing to have happened to the booking system, I?ve submitted 4 times for help and never heard, when I rang to ask why they said they had 0 forms from me.They suspended a bunch of services, including their sexual health clinic so you can?t get non-pill contraception from them anymore and the closest is in town now. Overall just a shambles

Always responded to promptly and all staff caring and supportive. Like having choice of telephone or face to face and online access to my health record. Thank you, St Martins

My son got seen by a pharmacist in July and was told he will be referred to ENT.Called the Practice mid-august and they informed that the referral has been sent and I should wait.Called the Practice end of August to confirm that referral has indeed been sent and to pick the letter from them. The next day my husband went to pick the letter only to find out that the referral was not sent and that it will be sent today and I will receive a text today.Yes, I have received a text today for a referral sent to ENT today. May I please ask what is the complaints pathway for this surgery as I would definitely not want another parent or child to go through the same pain again! I am not sure why was I told that the referral was sent the two times I called the Practice? It doesn?t make sense to me. My son meanwhile continues to have breathing issues at night while sleeping. I understand that GP surgeries are struggling but this is clear negligence!

As a teacher, there have been times where it has been unbearably difficult to get through to speak to someone, never mind an appointment. This however is not their fault - they are all doing their best under the circumstances. One particularly frustrating day I was unable to get through on the phone when I had an infection after an hour and a half and arrived at the practice quite irate and tearful. The receptionist upstairs clearly wanted to help me and I managed to get sorted with a phone call. That is typical of this practice; the warmth, compassion and dedication of the people who work here is clear, unfortunately the funding to meet capacity is not there. Even the doctors (particularly Ms/Dr O?Brien) are so welcoming and give such good quality care - I no longer fear blood tests because of her! It might take a while to get through to someone, yes, and you might not get the answer you want, but I guarantee you that the staff who work here are doing all they can in extraordinary circumstances. If you want this to change, instead of yelling or blaming the staff, look to the government who have chosen to drastically cut GP and healthcare funding, and remember that when you go to cast your votes. Otherwise, stop complaining - this is what happens and will continue to happen to public services unless we demand change. Thanks to all healthcare and public service staff for all you are doing.

Recently moved to Chapel allerton and joined this surgery. I?ve never had such good service from a GP before. My first and only appointment I?ve had was my IUD removal. Having my IUD inserted at my previous GP was hellish and put me off asking for help around my hormonal health for a few years. The procedure was booked in quickly and I had a short call before and after from Dr Jeronimo to make sure all was ok and she was more than lovely on the day. The practice also checked my records to make sure I did not still have asthma and in need of a consultation. I also love the messaging system.

I have had a few health issues over the past few years, and have always felt I was looked after by the GPs, nurses and receptionists at St. Martins Practise. The booking system for routine appointments is not great at the moment, but that is the same at most GP surgeries all over the country due to the pressure on NHS. If urgent care has been needed, I have never had an issue getting same day appointment. A BIG thank you to all staff at St. Martins.

This used to be a great GP practice but it?s not anymore. Triaging is done by unregulated people with no medical qualifications, their ?patient support? staff are anything but, the appointments process doesn?t work. Appointments can get cancelled by GPs without notice if deemed not urgent enough but you may not even be told, repeat prescription requests vanish into the mist. It?s a dangerous mess.

In spite of all the negative aspects of the NHS. I have always received exemplary service & treatment both from the practice & the pharmacy.Thank You ?

Great practice, given the pressures they, like all GPs, are under at the moment

If there was a negative rating I would give it to them. This is the worst GP practice.Appointments are a luxury that you won?t ever get but if you land one, the doctors will literally send you home with zero assessment or detailed questioning irrespective of if the patients are kids or grown ups.4 times in the last 6 months we?ve been prescribed medications for my kids (twice very serious conditions) that never went to pharmacy for dates because either a) doctor forgot to do it and this we missed meds for 3 days due to weekend or b) they push it to a random not-nominated pharmacy. In both cases you have to come back in person and beg them to print it for you so you can get medication.Everyone understands and respects our healthcare system but to be so repeatedly ill-competent in the most basic elements of a job over and again and causing terrible inconvenience specially when there?s young kids involved is unacceptable.

So difficult to get an appointment. I started repeatedly calling at 7:58 as advised and it took me 27 calls over 18 minutes to finally get in to the queue at position 9 (all other calls told me the queue was at capacity). By the time I got through to speak to someone all appointments had gone and told I should try again at 13:30 or tomorrow morning. It's easier to get Glastonbury tickets than an appointment at this practice.

Most of the staff are great! Very friendly and helpful. The Doctors are too but the issues are ridiculous appointment times. You can wait for weeks for a telephone consultation never mind a face to face appointment. And more recently you cant even ring to get to speak to anyone regardless of why you are calling due to the phone lines reaching cue capacity! Its simply not being managed correctly. Get another phone and hire someone to answer it. Its just not acceptable. Appointment times are bad enough without not being able to talk to anyone. Most people that phone are ill and need assistance. Not a recorded message apologising for lack of service!
