“Just popped in after dropping my wife off at an appointment locally. Got a nice fresh coffee, a really tasty homemade sandwich (maybe 2 ) and I was served by a really nice, friendly young woman. I’m not from round here but I’d come back for one of those sandwiches again!”

“Well stocked shop and now with a royal mail post office.Open till late with reasonably friendly staff.Does stock some fresh veg, fruit and types of meat. Massive collection of greeting cards and extensive off-licence”

“Good shop something's are over priced some offers are good. The only negative thing is you will have to stand in the que for ages as they won't press the button to ring for assistance so you stand there waiting”

“I usually shop online however popped in to do a large shop. Shop is nice and clean and I do think the produce is good quality. I just didn't realise I had to announce I wanted a delivery prior to shopping. Was told at checkout there was none left for today. I said I'd have one tomorrow and was told they didn't know how many online deliveries they would have and so couldn't book my delivery in. I had to pile all the shopping back into the trolley and thankfully was told the staff would put the goods back. I felt awful just leaving it in the shop. Staff did apologise though. Will stick to online in future”

“I use this particular branch of Sainsbury's every week. Recently I have found that their usual good standards seem to be slipping,I.e. empty shelves, and for three weeks running I have found items which have passed their sell by date. Staffing is always a problem everywhere you go but my last visit was last Friday (13th). I needed to find an assistant and as I am disabled find it very difficult to keep walking around searching for someone to help me, which incidentally I didn't find.I will keep visiting this store as it is convenient for my needs but please don't fall to the standards of other supermarkets of which shall remain name less.”

“Brilliant staff attitude. Wide range of products. However I am amazes at their substantially higher costs of real ale and especially spirit's. Surely that has to be a production range that has a very reasonable high level of sales notionally. Part of life. But a visit to tesco 50 metres away will always be part of the shopping trip.”

“I was initially very angry about a mistake made getting a free child meal with adults meal.we did have to pay at first but after explaining it all to the manager we did eventually get a refund. He said we are here to help you . I’m pleased we can feel helped because both me and my husband struggle to do all the ordering on their machine and he said we can go to the till now anytime”
