Waited over 3 months for a re-mortgage application after an agreement in principle, due to gross incompetence... then they withdrew the application due to a nonsensical reason. Now I have to pay an extortionate interest rate because existing product has expired, whilst I find a serious bank to remortgage with. What shambles.... read full comment

Disgusting service from Clydesdale. We waited 3 weeks for a mortgage application after being accepted for a DIP. Clydesdale then rejected our application without any communication last minute and 10 days before our completion date.Avoid at all costs, they will be reported to the FCA.
