“I had a family break at the Premier Inn Southport and we stayed for a week. And the staff were great the rooms were nice and clean. How ever there was not one single shelf or draw in the rooms we were allocated only a small amount of hanging space, which meant we had to live out of a suitcase, no where to put our under ware. Some people want to stay longer than a couple of nights. The Brewers Fare attached to it is in my opinion in dire need of refurbishment, all though the staff were brilliant and the food was good.”

“I have been coming to Southport for many years. So I thought I would like to try the Travelodge on Lord Street. Having booked online was very easy and straightforward and I think that I got a good deal. 2 nights for £73. As I walked through the lift the reception faces you Alice had lovely smile. She saw the I was in some pain and offered me a room that I didn't have to walk far. I opened the door and was very surprised to see how large the room was. The bed is massive and so comfortable I just lay down and let my muscles relax. The view of the landscape of Southport and the sunshine was healing. A few hours later a shower and bathroom that's bigger than my spare bedroom. Very clean.Rooms: I would love to have my own bedroom designed like a Travelodge room. The way it is very comfortable sitting and writing listening to the radio 2 .I found it perfectly peaceful.Nearby activities: Whatever you are into as you walk on to LORD STREET you will find .Safety: I would say that it makes one feel safe to get around as the Streets are very wide. I have had to hire a mobility scooter to get around. And it wasn't expensive. They are also handy if you like shopping for a bargain in the charity shops .Walkability: I would like to say that the council has got it right in planning for many people who have mobility issues. Keep up the good work. It is possible that you will find many individuals that are sleeping in the doorways with a cup with a few coins. It breaks my heart.”
