“What I like about TK is for example T shirts , jeans , jumpers etc are out on racks in size order ie Small , Large making it so easy to pick items out .Took my son to buy his birthday clothes and he found some great items .”

“It's my birthday in a couple of days and I will be going out to celebrate it and decided to buy a new dress for the occasion. I drove to Matalan at Springfield Retail Park in Nottingham. I was happy to see they had built new changing rooms near to the tills, and more of them, which was much better than before. Matalan had emailed me some discount offers and I wanted to take advantage of that. There was plenty of choice and I ended up buying 2 dresses, a tee shirt and 2 pair of leggings. There were plenty of staff at the tills and on the shop floor who were very helpful. I also got £10 off my purchase with my email and a 20% off till voucher for purchases from next week. Altogether a very good shopping experience and I'm a happy customer. Thanks to all at Matalan.”

“I enjoy John Lewis for its great quality products and friendly, helpful service. The gentlemen who assisted me and my partner in choosing a bed mattress and frame was very friendly and informative. However, when trying to buy pillows, duvet and sheets, it was difficult to find staff. This wasn't by staff’s lack of trying, it was just very thin on the ground. As a side, the restaurant was poor. While staff were very friendly and items were nice, the state of the place was terrible. We had to clear our own tables to enjoy a drink, and this wasn’t the first time. Ignoring this, the department store service was good, but could be improved with adequate staff levels.”

“Great customer service. I took back a DVD drive as it was faulty, and had a 2 year manufacturer warranty, and was 19 months old. I did not have the original receipt, only credit card statement. I expected them to tell me to contact the manufacturer, but they traced the purchase on the system from the purchase date, then just swapped it for a new one. Very happy!”
