“I have to say the care given by Peter, who is the pharmacist at Seaton Sluice, is fantastic. When first diagnosed with health issues I was quite taken aback and didn't always get the explanations I needed and wanted from NHS staff. However on picking up a prescription Peter asked if we could have a chat about my medications. He explained a lot of things to me in layman's terms which i greatly appreciated. He also followed this up with at least 3 - 4 phone calls over the period of approximately 3 months and also wrote to my GP recommending a change to my prescription due to an on going and persistent cough which was not only irritating to everyone around me but was also affecting my sleep. I am now cough free! I understand that Peter is only at Seaton Sluice until January 2019 but I for one will be sad to see him leave. I have to say all the other staff are very friendly and helpful too.”

“I went to Welcome Health as I was visiting a friend for Newcastle Pride that weekend but after 2 weeks of testing negative from Covid, I still had sinusitis. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. A suitable steroid spray was dispensed over the counter and my symptoms were gone in less than 48hours. Would highly recommend, well stocked and reasonably priced for the size of pharmacy.”

“Always seems busy . The pharmacists are great but the rest of the staff are variable - one chap looks distinctly casual with manners to match. I don't like having to give my name & address such that it's plainly audible to the whole store. Update 17/8/21 - Much better . Staff are all great . Scruff bag has gone . Liz the main pharmacist is very good as are the support staff . The young manager seems to have worked hard.”
