I went there because I was 'thinking' about buying a new office chair, I ended up having a great time spinning around on a few chairs and getting a tour of the warehouse. The dude I met (manager maybe? He was so cool ?) was seriously knowledgeable AND friendly. We put the world to rights for a while whilst spinning, relaxing and being blasted by the smell of fresh bakery from next door.I got matched with my perfect chair and we are now home getting acquainted. The levels of carpentry were fantastic to the point that Neil is coming back to assist with some further work on the house. “What a pleasure to shop at Homebase recently - did not find the item I wanted, it was out of stock temporarily, but Shirley, the sales assistant/teller on duty 24 June, was so eager to help, so pleasant and apologetic, took the time and trouble to check on the resupply schedule, despite pressure of an obvious staff shortage.Either Homebase has an excellent staff recruitment module, or their staff training is excellent. “Went for a new mattress as mine had a large dent and was old. Helpful store worker helped me find the perfect pillow and mattress. Deliverers took my old mattress for recycling and delivered my chosen mattress and pillows to the room I needed them in, all in excellent condition at delivery. Delivery driver was polite and courteous. Can't think of anything to complain about as the service I received was perfect, would recommend to friends and family and I will be returning here when I next need bed stuff.”
