An excellent hotel with extremely nice and friendly staff.Fantastically located in York city centre.Literally a 10 minute walk from the city centre shopping area. Parking is free, and up to 17.00hrs on the day of departure. Suggest arriving a few hours early, to get a parking space, as this is a very popular hotel. Only... read full comment

Ok for a travelodge, currently being refurbed inside and is nice enough. For me the stay totally ruined by road noise outside. Could do with some proper double glazing or secondary glazing, even heavier curtains may help.
